Attack the Attacker
Individuals whose passion is classical/traditional training need the live guidance of at the very least one suitably proficient master of the system they are pursuing to insure that their techniques are faithful to the original, and in order to grade, judge, rank, and evaluate them “officially”, so as to insure the validity and authenticity of that which they are training so hard and long to acquire and master. And when speaking of any classical/traditional system it is best if several highly advanced experts in that system contribute to your development. These individuals can be very difficult to locate, and traveling to where they are for the authenticity of your studies can be very expensive and difficult.
Your training materials and guidance are synopsized right here on our All-In Site! You can order, at the cost of approximately a latte, access to the entire video library for one month. Once acquired you simply follow the instructional video. And . . . because of the very nature of the American Combato System, making adjustments and employing slight variations in technical performance so as to accommodate your personal idiosyncrasies and physiological propensities is strongly encouraged, never regarded as any form of “break” from the approved curriculum. We only require that you remain within the guidelines and standards of our approach. Use the Applegate Standard. So long as the effectiveness of a technique is not hampered in any way, your unique interpretation of it is fine. In this we follow exactly the letter and the spirit of that training given during WWII by Fairbairn, Sykes, Biddle, Applegate, and O’Neill that so strongly influenced the development of American Combato.
